The 2015 Benton County Fair will be hosting
'The Wall That Heals' which is a 250 foot traveling
replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial
that is located in Washington DC.
The Wall will arrive in Sauk Rapids
on Tuesday, August 4th by Escort.
The Escort will begin at the Clearwater Travel Plaza
and leave at 11:00 am. It will take a right onto
Hwy 24, take the next left onto Hwy 75
and proceed on Hwy 75 into St. Augusta.
It will then turn right onto Co Rd 7 or Clearwater Rd
and then turn onto 9th Avenue. It will
continue over the Sauk Rapids bridge, turn right going
south on Benton Drive, turn right onto 2nd Ave South
and proceed to the main entrance of the fairgrounds
with planned arrival at the fairgrounds at 11:45 am.
The opening ceremony at The Wall will be
on Wednesday, August 5th at 10:00 am.
The Wall will be open to the public
Wednesday, thru Sunday, August 9th
during the fair. The closing ceremony
at The Wall will be on
Sunday, August 8th at 4:00 pm.

THE 5K ROOSTER RUN
The 2015 Rooster Run
starts at 9:30 am on
Sunday, August 9th .
Due to the road construction on the
south side of the fairgrounds and
The Wall That Heals display, a
free shuttle will be provided
during the fair.
Tuesday thru Friday - 2pm to Midnight
Saturday - 10am to Midnight
Sunday - 10am to 5pm
The shuttle will leave the
Sauk Rapids VFW on the hour
and at the main entrance to
the fairgrounds on the half hour.
The last shuttle will leave the
fairgrounds at 12:10 am if needed.
